Thousand Memories is a blog started by two people, with another one being dragged ruthlessly into it, with the intention of spreading the ideas and analyses of anime, visual novel, moeness, pantsu, and whatever else we find interesting. While originally created to be an exclusive blog for the members of the WWWA (search it, laugh at the name). Now about us individually:
I am the head of the Thousand Memories, Yumekki. A romantic/realist who have shed many tears over the likes of Yumemi Hoshino, Ciel, Hisui, Saber, Illya, Misuzu, Setsumi, and many more. I enjoy getting my emotion being ripped apart and tossed like a ragged doll (I shall argue that I am NOT a masochist). I would even do it in public… or at least selective public.
I am currently fanboying over Nasuverse (Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night, and, most of all, Kara no Kyoukai) and will probably continue to do so until a few years Kara no Kyoukai finishes. I have a weakness to badass girls, and so fell hard for Saber, and fall like a ton of bricks to Ryougi Shiki.
I am also a writer, mostly of short stories. I have a strict rule against writing fanfic (that is, using someone’s elses character) and so only write originals. My style of writing has often been commented as stark, and my story, reminiscent of Makoto Shinkai.
I am first and foremost an art lover. I love music, and used to listen almost obsessively to my lovely little Zen Nano and Sennheiser headphones. My taste ranges from Louis Armstrong to Motteke Sailor Fuku, but is currently listening mostly to Yuki Kajiura. I also use to devour books when I was younger. I read mostly Fantasy and Science Fiction, which of course, along with my heritage, drove me towards anime. The first anime that I got was Air. Then everything snowballed.
